This notice explains how Little River Oy processes personal data relating to visitors, people who contact us and customers of the Long Way Hungry shop.

Data we process
We process information supplied in enquiries and, for shop orders, the customer’s name, contact details, delivery address, product, size, delivery, payment status and possible returns. Stripe processes card details and we do not receive complete card information. With consent, Google Analytics may collect page views, device and browser information, the referring page, approximate location and cookie identifiers.
Purposes and legal bases
We use data to handle orders, deliveries, payments, returns and customer service under a contract; to meet accounting and other legal obligations; to prevent misuse based on legitimate interests; and, with your consent, to measure use of the site and shop. We do not make automated decisions or profiles that have legal effects.
Service providers and transfers
Stripe may process data for payments, Google for analytics and Cloudflare for site delivery and security on our behalf. Providers may process data outside the EU and EEA using applicable safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We disclose data to authorities only where required by law.
Retention
We retain order and accounting records for the period required by law, normally at least six years from the end of the financial year. Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter. Our intended Google Analytics event and user data retention period is 14 months; aggregated reports without directly identifying information may remain available for longer.
Cookies and local storage
We store the essential cookie choice in your browser’s local storage for 180 days. Google Analytics loads only after acceptance and may set _ga and _ga_* cookies, which normally have a maximum lifetime of two years. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button on this page. YouTube videos are embedded from the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain, but loading or playing a video may still provide Google with technical data.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may access, correct or erase your data; restrict or object to processing; receive data you provided in a portable form; and withdraw consent. Contact us at the email address above. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland.
